Meet Allie
A Nashville therapist focused on LGBTQ teens, youth, and young adults
Hi! I’m Allie (she/her). You may be struggling with your sexuality, gender, the effects of religious or childhood trauma, anxiety, or something else. As a queer therapist in Nashville specializing in the needs of LGBTQ+ teens, young adults, and youth, my goal is to create a safe space for you to explore your identity and grow through discovery of authentic connection to self and others.
After many years of feeling unsure and unsteady in myself, my own path to healing and self-acceptance came from the growing realization that all that I am is enough. And this was not without the incredible support of those who I can count on to see me through my evolutions, including the realization of my bisexual identity.
Following an initial winding road of studies in theology, gender, and sexuality, and setting my intention on a career in academia, I made the huge leap to apply to a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program to pursue work as a therapist.
Now I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ teens and young adults, as well as people of all ages struggling with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, understanding their sexual or gender identity, relationship distress, and the effects of religious and childhood trauma.
Healing work can be done at all levels, but I’ve always been drawn to the “ground level” work of counseling and the ability to connect one-on-one with individuals. Please reach out below to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so we can see about fit!
When I’m not working with clients, you can typically find me in the great outdoors with my partner, collecting far too many books than I can fit in our home, or baby-talking to my dearest dog, Bodhi."
