Meet Elliot
A Nonbinary Nashville therapist intern passionate about walking alongside you in your journey toward proudly becoming your most authentic self
Hello! I’m Elliot (they/them). Are you questioning your identity and wanting to make a change? Do you struggle with feelings of guilt or shame? Are you worried about navigating the unknown?
As a Queer and Nonbinary native of Nashville, I know the struggles that can come with living in an environment that doesn’t always celebrate diversity. I want to help you deconstruct past or present harmful messages that you may be holding from family, friends, society, or a religious community.
You may be Queer, Trans, Nonbinary, or questioning your gender or sexuality. Or are you wanting to explore ethical nonmonogamy, polyamory, a kink identity, or unconventional sexual expression in your relationships? Like many of us, you may simply not fit in the box society has asked you to fit in while struggling to reconcile the world you grew up in with the world you want!
I’m dedicated to creating a safe space where you feel supported in your journey by someone who is affirming, sex-positive, and trauma-informed. I honor all forms of consensual sexual practice and relationship dynamics, while I understand that these topics are not always easy to talk about.
I acknowledge that even a new and exciting journey forward may still come with feelings of sadness, guilt, shame, or a sense of loss for what’s left behind. I believe that life rarely aligns with the binaries our culture uses to categorize it, and I’d love to help and walk alongside you in your journey of finding the path that is you!
When not working or studying, I enjoy attending local theater productions and movies at the Belcourt, reading at home, playing Animal Crossing, or hanging out with my cat Marlowe. I also love to volunteer as a way to connect with people and give back to my community.
Go ahead and take that first step and reach out through the button below to schedule your free consultation to get started!
